2024 MAIN STAGE @Auburn:
11:15am MahataMmoho Collective: Stepping together as one! This dance company brings together artists from all walks of life to create beautiful works of unity and cultural exchange.
12:15pm B.flo Girls: After meeting in 2015 through Buffalo's Hip Hop scene, BGirl Resolve & DJ Lisa Lux developed a friendship alongside their crafts in two of the main elements of Hip Hop Culture, breaking and DJing. Having seen firsthand the treatment of female-identifying practitioners in their respective elements, they decided to found a collective called B.flo-Girls, dedicated to uplifting Women in Hip Hop. B.flo-Girls are now proud to offer programming to local youth and adults, sharing history, teaching foundations, and engaging groups in discussions around gender issues.
1:15pm Hayatidance: Hayati is a certified Belly Dance instructor, choreographer and event producer offering in-person, online and outdoor classes and performances in Buffalo, NY.
2:15pm Henri Star and Muhammad School of Music Chamber Players: Henri Star is passionate about nurturing Black and minority students in their pursuit of classical music training. He founded the Muhammad School of Music (MSOM) in 1999 to create a nurturing environment where students can excel.
3:15pm Red Curry and the Boss Sauce: Red Curry and The Boss Sauce is a Groovy funk/Soul/Rock band with elements of jazz, R&B & pop.
4:30pm Family Funktion and the Sitar Jams: Family Funktion and the Sitar Jams is a renowned trio of brothers who have been captivating audiences for over 15 years. Known for their spellbinding blend of improvisation and genre-defying exploration, they have traveled the nation, enchanting fans from all walks of life. Rooted in jamband culture and appealing to those with a taste for mind-expanding experiences, their music transcends boundaries, creating a sonic marvel that is truly unique. With a commitment to crafting unforgettable musical odysseys, Family Funktion and the Sitar Jams invite listeners to open their minds and journey to new dimensions of sound and soul.
5:45pm Son BoriKua: Incorporating their own influences (subtle, yet powerful) to this music genre and keeping with the tradition of Afro Cuban - Puerto Rican musical heritage, Son BoriKua will bring a vibe of life with Son Montuno, Tropical Caribbean and a Salsa groove.
